Steve Biondo currently serves as president of the Tim Tebow Foundation (TTF), now in its twelfth year of service to vulnerable children and families all over the world. Formerly a senior-level executive at Family Christian Resource Centers, Biondo entered the senior role at the foundation in April 2018 to oversee day-to-day operations and lead the team on mission to bring Faith, Hope and Love to those needing a brighter day in their darkest hour of need.
Since being founded in 2010 by professional athlete and sports analyst, Tim Tebow, TTF has established a reputation as an advocate for the most vulnerable through four main areas of ministry, including Anti-Human Trafficking, Orphan Care + Prevention, Special Needs, and Children with Profound Medical Needs. Biondo’s personal and professional experience prior to taking the helm has uniquely equipped him to not only influence these areas of ministry from a place of wisdom, but also to have a command over the stewardship of personnel and financial resources to most effectively impact these areas. TTF now serves in 86 nations.
Prior to TTF, Biondo’s experience most recently includes executive leadership at Family Christian Stores and serving as President of the Family Christian Stores Foundation, The James Fund. Under Steve’s leadership the non-profit ministry impacted 14 million orphans, widows and oppressed children working across the globe. Biondo also was accountable for Human Resources leadership of more than 4,200 employees in 37 states and strategic planning and organizational development.
Biondo also served as the Vice President of Human Resources for the Global Logistics Division of Gap, Inc. from 1998 – 2003. He worked on the Global Gap, Inc. HR strategy team, which governed and guided over 165,000 retail employees throughout the U.S., U.K., Canada and Japan. Before his time with The Gap, Steve served as VP of Human Resources for SpartanNash, Inc. a national grocery wholesaler/retailer headquartered inGrand Rapids, MI.
Steve has been married to Chris for 41 years and they have three children, Jessica, Ben (married to Kayley) and Kara. He currently serves on several Boards related to anti-human trafficking and orphan care.
Steve joined the Cook Board in May 2023 and serves on the Governance and Ministry Advancement Committees.
