Stuart Hall joined David C Cook in September 2022, as Chief Financial Officer. Stuart’s background is centered on helping privately held companies, both private equity backed and privately owned, to grow profitably. Throughout his career, Stuart has reengineered processes and systems needed to support the strategic growth goals of CEO’s and Boards of Directors. He has experience in business turnarounds, mergers and acquisitions, IT and ERP system implementations, and incentive systems.
Stuart’s experience includes serving on private and non-profit boards of directors as well as teaching at the collegiate level. He obtained a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting with a minor in Bible, Summa Cum Laude, from Abilene Christian University and a Master of Science in Industrial Engineering and Operations research from Virginia Tech. Stuart is a Certified Public Accountant, Global Chartered Management Accountant, Fellow of the National Association of Corporate Directors and has completed the fiduciary training for the Plan Sponsor Council of America.
Stuart is a committed Christian, having been active in teaching, preaching and singing throughout his life. From teaching two-year old’s, to adults, he has been active in all congregations where he has attended. Christian music has been central to his service in worship, from the Sunday afternoon singings at his grandparent’s house, singing in summer Christian Musicals in high school, traveling extensively in college with the ACU A Cappella Chorus, to leading singing in worship, both as a song leader and praise team member.
Stuart and his wife, Hope, enjoy spending time in the great outdoors and with their two daughters, one son and his wife, and one grandson. Stuart is an avid cyclist who has raced time trials and road races on the local, state and national level.
