David Bervig joined David C Cook in 2010 as vice president of human resources. Prior to joining the ministry, David served in various leadership positions with JCPenney, Focus on the Family, Coast IRB, and Young Life. He graduated from Adams State College with a B.A in history/government.
David has a heart for the most valuable resource at DCC: its people. David approaches every situation from a “people point of view” and is committed to ensuring that every DCC employee reaches his/her full potential as they collectively serve the Kingdom.
David has a proven track record of driving organizational culture that functions as a key mechanism and pathway for achieving and sustaining corporate performance. His history in delivering results while leading high-performing teams and forging strong relationships that promote action through exceptional communication skills helps drive the strong culture at DCC.
When not on the golf course, you’ll find David spending time with his wife, Laura, and two grown children.
