Transparency in Coverage

Health Benefits/HSA

David C Cook offers staff and their families a high deductible medical plan, as well as pharmacy and vision coverage. The plan is supplemented by a Health Savings Account (HSA). Health benefits are offered to all full-time regular employees.

Dental

David C Cook also offers staff and their families generous dental coverage including orthodontic coverage for adults and children.

Wellness Program

The ministry provides employees and their spouse the opportunity to participate in a full wellness program. Employees who complete the required metrics can earn reduced medical premiums.

Health Savings Account

David C Cook offers a HSA to all employees enrolled in the medical plan. The HSA is seeded by the ministry with a lump sum to help employees with the annual deductible. Employees can also contribute to the HSA through payroll deduction up to the IRS maximum each year.

401(K)

David C Cook encourages retirement saving by allowing staff to contribute to the 401(k) on a pre-tax basis up to the IRS maximum each year. Company match is effective after one year of service to the ministry. Full vesting occurs after five years of service.

Life Insurance

David C Cook currently provides each employee basic term life insurance coverage. All regular full-time employees are eligible for ministry paid life insurance for the employee and their dependents. Voluntary life insurance policies are available for those desiring coverage in addition to the company-paid policy.
