John Fowle is currently the Chief Financial Officer of Gloo, an innovative technology platform serving the faith and flourishing community. John has more than 20 years of corporate finance leadership, driving strategic growth, operational excellence, and capital market initiatives across a range of industries, including SaaS, technology, biotech, aerospace, and media. Throughout his career, John has played a pivotal role in transforming and scaling businesses from early-stage ventures to enterprises exceeding $2 billion in revenue. His leadership spans organizations such as Akerna (Nasdaq: KERN), GE Healthcare, Panasonic Avionics, Freedom Communications and Welltok—where he helped lead growth recognized by Deloitte Fast 500 and Forbes Cloud 100 rankings. He is known for building high-performing teams, fostering cross-functional alignment, and serving as a trusted advisor to CEOs, Boards, and investors.
John joined the David C Cook board in 2025 and currently serves on the Finance & Audit Committee. He holds an MBA from the University of California, Irvine, and a BS in Business Administration from the University of Southern California. He is a Certified Public Accountant licensed in the state of California. He is actively involved with the local chapter of the New Canaan Society. John and his wife Jaclyn have two children, Preston and Abigail, and make their home in Broomfield, CO where they attend Flatirons Community Church.
