(COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado) – Coming off a strong 2023 where David C Cook saw 24% growth in book sales, the company experienced its best Easter week ever, according to Bookscan, with a 45% increase over its previous top Easter week in 2021, significantly outperforming publishing industry averages for that same week.
Easter week 2024 was also Cook’s second highest sales week in its history, only slightly behind the week prior to Christmas 2023.

David C Cook’s successful Easter week sales were driven predominantly by The Action Bible and its portfolio (including The Action Bible Expanded Edition and The Action Bible Faith in Action Edition) which sold 66% more units this Easter than in 2023.
The Action Bible brings the stories of the Bible to life through an immersive experience that transports readers into biblical stories through over 230 fast-paced narratives and striking illustrations created by former Marvel Comics illustrator Sergio Cariello. It has consistently been a top selling children’s Bible since the first edition was published in 2010.
