Dove Award Winner Paul Baloche Will Lead Worship During Ceremony
(COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado) – David C Cook, a leading ministry in the Christian publishing and music industries, will hold a re-dedication ceremony for its newly renovated and remodeled headquarters in Colorado Springs.
On January 1st, 2023, a massive flood occurred after a boiler on the top floor burst, causing extensive damage throughout the building. For months, workers from all over Colorado Springs have come together to rebuild, repair, and restore the building, completely renovating the facility.
“To mark this recovery and to honor God’s ongoing work out of Colorado Springs, we are re-dedicating our headquarters building with a worship service and ministry-wide day of prayer. This re-dedication event reflects our deep commitment to our mission and the belief that our work is a testament to God’s faithfulness,” said Rick Rekedal, president of David C Cook. “From out of the flood have come God’s provision and promises. We are eager to share the remarkable journey and celebrate how God has worked in and through the ministry.”
The dedication ceremony will take place on Wednesday, June 21st, 2023, at 10 AM, with a coffee reception beginning at 9 AM, at the newly remodeled David C Cook Building, located at 4050 Lee Vance Drive, Colorado Springs.
Local media are invited to attend the ceremony. Please RSVP to Cathy Herholdt, VP of Communications, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Special guest, Paul Baloche, will lead a time of worship during the event. Baloche is a three-time Dove Award winner and renowned songwriter, who has written numerous beloved worship songs, including “Open the Eyes of My Heart,” “Above All,” and “Hosanna,” which are sung in thousands of churches around the world. Baloche has recorded 12 albums with Integrity Music (part of David C Cook), while also traveling across North American and internationally to teach and lead others in worship.
