Ron is a retired CEO with extensive experience driving growth in small and midsize companies across a wide spectrum of industries. He especially focused on building strong corporate alliances and developing collaborative environments where employees and management partnered to accomplish a shared vision.
Ron was President of Connor Sport Court International, the world’s leading supplier of indoor and outdoor sports surfaces for basketball, track, volleyball, and tennis. He was also President of American Electronic Components Inc., a tier 1 supplier of electronic sensors to all 3 major US auto companies and numerous international manufacturers. In addition, he was President of The J.M. Ney Company, a vertically integrated manufacturer of custom engineered components for medical, dental, automotive markets. Prior to these, Ron held various management positions in R&D, Sales & Marketing, Operations and Engineering at several large international companies. He has a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Lafayette College and an MBA from Villanova University.
Ron and Lia have been married for 46 years and have 3 children and 4 grandchildren who keep them frequently traveling from Florida to the Midwest. In addition, he serves on several non-profit and for-profit boards and is active with St Matthew’s House in Naples, FL coaching men recovering from drug and alcohol addiction in work readiness and job transition skills.
Ron serves as Chair of the Finance and Audit Committee and as a member of the Governance Committee.
