Chaplain Samuel Odekke serves at a small school in Rwanda, where he is helping raise a generation of young leaders rooted in Christ. In a country still healing from the genocide, Samuel believes lasting change begins with discipleship. He explains, “Rwanda must be founded on the Word of God through discipleship and mentorship of the young generation so that what happened before will not happen again.”
Using Cook Media Global’s Life on Life curriculum, Samuel teaches biblical truth alongside practical lessons on character, emotional health, life skills, and personal responsibility. Samuel shares, “As God has called me to make a difference in the lives of the young children, Life on Life is also making a difference in me. I have seen my own spiritual life edified through the teacher devotions, and the lessons that I teach my learners every single day have triggered the hunger in me to find more of the Word of God.”
