In this final book of the StrongHeart Stories series for ages 4-8, Beth Guckenberger highlights how friendships give us strength for spiritual battles because God created us for community.

The heart started to feel warm.
She looked at her new friends
and remembered something wise:
“Two are better than one.”

When a determined little heart sets out to build a snowman by herself, loneliness and discouragement chill her excitement. Through unexpected friendships, she discovers that God uses community to warm us. Grounded in Ecclesiastes 4:9-10, this heartwarming picture book helps young readers
realize the joy and encouragement we find in friendship.

Like every book in the StrongHeart Stories series, The Heart Who Needed a Friend equips children with healthy, loving ways to deal with big feelings. This illustrated story series gives parents the guidance and biblical tools to prepare children for spiritual battles in developmentally appropriate ways—through Scripture, worship, rest, prayer, confession, and community.
