David C Cook is born from a heart of service. Our founder David Caleb Cook was passionate about equipping Sunday school teachers with lessons and resources that would reach children with the love of Jesus. The legacy lives on in the ministry and mission of Cook Media Global.
Media reflects the multi-faceted ways we can share the Gospel, and we have a global mission to seek a worldwide audience. The world needs the Church now more than ever, and donations help us share the Gospel with those who need it most. We have several programs that our donors help support: The Action Bible, The Story of Jesus pamphlet, and Life on Life curriculum.
The Action Bible is a graphic novel version of the Bible, which helps children connect with God’s redemptive story through engaging illustrations and simple dialogue in their own language. The Action Bible is printed in 116 translations, which allows children of all nations access to the stories of the Gospel and the love of Jesus.

Drawn from The Action Bible, The Story of Jesus is a booklet that presents the Gospel to children in engaging, age-appropriate ways. Boyd, a youth leader, found children in northern Malawi reading The Story of Jesus booklet together. The children were able to clearly explain the Gospel message and were equipped to share the love of Jesus with others.
Life on Life curriculum is designed to help children understand God’s Word and grow in their relationship with Christ. 5,000 churches and 37 schools in Latin America are using Life of Life as their curriculum, equipping teachers with faith-based lessons, discipleship techniques, and practical guidance for school-age children who are learning about Jesus and the importance of the Gospel.
The direct results of Life on Life training in India, especially, have been remarkable. It is sparking church growth in many of the nation’s largest denominations. Miraculous healing has been reported as the children who have participated in Life on Life encourage those suffering to pray and seek Jesus. The power of the living God is evident where these teachings are present.
